Geerlofs, a Dutch company specialising in industrial refrigeration and HVAC engineering, based in Rotterdam and also established in Nairobi (Kenya), has joined Syclef, an international group focused on commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning.
Syclef employs more than 3,000 people worldwide and operates through a network of regional companies. The addition of Geerlofs marks Syclef's first presence in the Netherlands and represents the start of its expansion in the Benelux region. By integrating into Syclef's network, Geerlofs aims to strengthen its position in its core markets and continue developing its activities.

Headquartered in Rotterdam, Geerlofs employs around 90 people under the management of Radboud Blom (Managing Director), Simon Vos (Operations Director), and Marco Visser (Sales Director), who will all remain in their current roles.
Founded in 1933, Geerlofs has more than 90 years of experience in designing installations for the agricultural, agri-food, and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as laboratories and vertical farming projects. The company focuses on industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems, emphasising the use of natural refrigerants such as ammonia, propane, and CO₂ to support environmentally responsible practices.
Geerlofs also operates internationally, with a branch office in Kenya and ongoing projects across several continents, including Africa, the United States, and Canada.
According to Managing Director Radboud Blom, joining Syclef will help Geerlofs continue to grow and adapt to developments in the refrigeration and HVAC markets while maintaining its established standards of quality and technical expertise.
Syclef's International Director, Guillaume Burvingt, said that Geerlofs' addition strengthens the group's presence in both the Benelux and African markets. He noted that the company's long history and technical knowledge align well with Syclef's existing operations and future objectives.
