Group-GTS has opened a new 15,000 m² logistics hub in Genk. With this expansion, the logistics provider is further strengthening its operations, now operating 700 trucks and managing 360,000 m² of logistics space. "It is a strategic location in Limburg, close to key industries and the new container terminal Port of Limburg. The hub supports an existing customer and will start with ten employees, with room for further growth," says Steffen Hansen of Group-GTS.

According to the CCO, the expansion goes beyond transport. "The opening of our new site in Genk takes our services to the next level. Thanks to close cooperation with a dedicated partner, we will now support them not only with transport but also with warehousing."
The Genk location was strategically chosen for its proximity to major industrial centres and the recent addition of the Port of Limburg container terminal. "This makes Genk a central link in Group-GTS's network, where transport and warehouse logistics come together seamlessly. The expansion aligns with the company's vision of sustainable growth, with a focus on innovation, infrastructure, and investment in people. With this site, we are creating the flexibility and efficiency our partners need today and in the future."
"We do not just want to provide our customers with capacity, but above all to relieve them through reliable service. Our goal is to think proactively alongside them and deliver solutions that drive their business forward. With the opening of the new location in Genk, we expect to meet this goal even more effectively."
