Chilean air-freighted cherries for the 2025–26 season arrived at Guangzhou's Jiangnan Market this Friday, attracting considerable attention. This marks the first arrival of the season, about a week earlier than last year. The varieties currently available include Black Rock and AG2, packed in 2kg boxes with 3JD sizes. Prices range from ¥740–¥780 (US$4.80–US$5.05) per box, slightly lower than last year's opening prices. Market traders anticipate that the arrival of cherries will boost overall customer traffic.

American Gala apples have also arrived on the market. Although arrivals remain limited, prices are currently around ¥450–¥460 (US$2.90–US$3.00) per box, approximately ¥20–¥30 (US$0.13–US$0.19) higher than in previous years. Some traders reported that the overall quality is good, but since it is still early in the season, some apples are not yet fully colored. Traders also noted that shipments of American Red Delicious apples, which will arrive later, may be smaller this year.
Meanwhile, arrivals of New Zealand Queen apples have decreased since the Mid-Autumn Festival, leading to a significant price increase, currently around ¥390–¥400 (US$2.50–US$2.60) per box, which has slowed sales. South African Fuji apples show a wide price range depending on brand and quality, from just over ¥200 to more than ¥300 (US$1.30–US$1.95) per box. Although prices for these apples remain relatively low among imported varieties, sales have been relatively strong. However, some traders observed that overall sales of imported apples are currently sluggish.

Arrivals of Peruvian blueberries have increased compared with last week, and prices have fallen slightly. The current mainstream price for 14mm+ blueberries is around ¥115 (US$0.74) per box, mainly for the 9-2 variety. Yunnan blueberries on the market are generally larger, ranging from 18mm+ to 26mm+. In addition to traditional packaging, they are also available in small-cup gift boxes. Differences in brand, size, and packaging result in a wide price range.
The market supply of Spanish Metis plums has risen compared with previous seasons, but limited stock has kept prices high, currently selling for around ¥160 (US$1.03) per box.

The price of young Thai coconuts has been gradually declining since late September due to falling source prices. Depending on the brand and size, large fruits are now priced at around ¥40–¥50 (US$0.26–US$0.32) per box, lower than in previous years. Some traders noted that recent demand for coconuts has been weak, and despite the price drop, sales have remained disappointing.
