Tract raises €18.6M to expand agrifood supply chain platform

Amsterdam-based technology company TRACT has secured €18.6 million (US$20 million) in Series A funding to expand its supply chain intelligence platform for the global agrifood industry. The round was led by Icos Capital, joined by Invest International, Future Food Fund, Rabo Investments, Pymwymic, and Working Capital Fund.

TRACT's platform enables food and agriculture companies to map supply chains and monitor sourcing risks amid increasing climate and market pressures. The funding will support expansion of the company's data integration systems, platform capabilities, and client base across major commodity sectors.

Founded by Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Cargill, Louis Dreyfus Company, and Olam Food Ingredients (OFI), TRACT was established to improve data transparency and traceability across global agricultural supply chains. The platform connects supplier data at source with procurement and sustainability requirements, enabling users to monitor sourcing risks, comply with environmental standards, and prepare for regulations such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

"Resilient supply chains are the foundation of a more equitable and sustainable food system," said TRACT CEO Allison Kopf. "Sourcing leaders are under pressure to manage more risk, more data, and more complexity than ever before. This funding accelerates our next phase of growth as we scale the platform and support companies shaping the future of responsible sourcing."

Investors highlighted TRACT's potential to bridge traceability and sustainability goals across global food chains. "Supply chain traceability is key to preventing deforestation and making emissions transparent," said Nityen Lal, founding partner at Icos Capital. "Through our collaborative venturing platform with leading agrifood and chemical corporates, we back innovations like TRACT that turn complex supply chain data into real climate action."

The company said it will continue working with industry partners to expand its data infrastructure and provide a central platform for managing sustainability metrics. TRACT's technology is used across crops.
