Hello Kitty launches fruit-themed scavenger hunt across Asia

The Japan Fruit and Vegetables Export Promotion Council (J-FEC) and Sanrio have launched the "Hello Kitty Japanese Fruit Hunt," a mobile scavenger hunt celebrating Japan-grown fruits. Running across six Asian countries, the interactive campaign invites participants to visit restaurants, shops, and events displaying the "Japan-Grown Fruit" label. By scanning the label with their smartphones, users collect digital badges, unlock Hello Kitty rewards, and enter exclusive giveaways. The initiative aims to promote the freshness and quality of Japanese fruits in a fun, tech-driven way, with special content also planned for travelers visiting Japan.
