The Ministry of Agriculture reports that Typhoon Danas caused agricultural damage estimated at NT$257.16 million (US$8.86 million), heavily impacting pomelos. The losses, concentrated in central and southern Taiwan, are based on data from the Agriculture and Food Agency and the Department of Animal Industry.

Tainan experienced 82% of the total damage. Following Tainan, Chiayi County reported losses of NT$22.3 million, Yunlin County NT$20.83 million, and Nantou County NT$2.7 million. Overall, 3,328 hectares of crops were affected, with 952 hectares completely lost.
Pomelos faced the most damage, with 800 hectares affected and a 50% loss rate, resulting in 400 hectares of production losses valued at NT$118.4 million. Other affected crops include longan, ponkan tangerines, sweet corn, and bananas, all suffering multi-million in damages.
The livestock sector reported NT$2.35 million (US$81,000) in losses, primarily involving chickens. Damage to agricultural facilities, including trellises, greenhouses, and livestock housing, is estimated at NT$16.9 million (US$580,000).
Typhoon Danas made landfall in Chiayi County before moving north and exiting near Taoyuan and Hsinchu. The typhoon resulted in over 300 injuries and two fatalities in Tainan.
