Avocado
In Texas, avocado movement from Mexico is expected to remain steady, with slow trading. Prices for conventional Hass varieties are generally lower, with 2-layer cartons of 32s at USD 68.25-70.25, 36s at USD 65.25-67.25, and 48s at USD 62.25-64.25. Organic 48s are stable at USD 82.25-84.25. In California's South District, trading is moderate to slow. Conventional prices range from USD 68.25-70.25 for 32-36s to USD 64.25-66.25 for 48s.
Blueberry
Movement from Mexico through Arizona, California, and Texas remains steady, with active trading at lower prices. Flats of 12 6-ounce cups with lids are priced at USD 18.00-20.00, while 1-pint cups range from USD 30.00-32.00. In Florida, movement is increasing seasonally, with prices slightly higher. Flats of 12 1-pint cups with lids, large, are mostly USD 30.00-34.00, while organic flats are USD 44.00-46.00. Georgia reports active trading, with similar prices.
Cucumber
Movement from Mexico through Nogales, Arizona, is decreasing. Prices for 1 1/9-bushel cartons of medium cucumbers are USD 14.95-16.95, while fair quality is USD 12.95-14.95. In Texas, cucumber movement is expected to rise, with prices slightly higher. Medium sizes are USD 17.95-19.95, while large cucumbers are USD 20.95-22.95.
Green bell pepper
Movement from Mexico through Nogales is expected to decrease. Prices for 1 1/9-bushel cartons are USD 14.95-16.95 for extra-large, USD 12.95-14.95 for large, and USD 8.95 for medium. In Florida, prices are slightly higher, with jumbo sizes at USD 16.00-18.00 and extra-large at USD 16.35-18.35
Strawberry
Movement from Santa Maria, California, is expected to rise. Trading is moderate, with higher prices. Flats of 8 1-pound containers are priced at USD 12.00-14.00, while organic ones are USD 16.00-18.00. Mexico's supplies through Otay Mesa, California, are decreasing, with prices ranging from USD 10.00 for conventional to USD 10.00-14.00 for organic. In Oxnard District, California, prices mirror those in Santa Maria.
Tomato
Movement from Mexico through Texas is decreasing, with early trading slow but later more active. Prices for vine-ripe 2-layer 4x4-4x5s are USD 14.95-16.95, and 5x5-5x6s are USD 9.95-10.95. In Nogales, Arizona, trading is active, with similar prices. California's Otay Mesa region expects increased movement, though current supplies are limited.
