Greenyard invests €3 million in new sauce kitchen for convenient food solutions

Greenyard opened a state-of-the-art sauce installation at its Prepared-site in Bree, Belgium. This € 3 million investment is a response to the growing consumer appetite for conveniently prepared and packaged sauces.

The new production line produces thousands of litres of delicious sauces per hour, significantly expanding Greenyard's new product development capabilities. The new installation allows the company to further develop innovative pure-plant options for various moments of consumption by end-consumers. This investment also creates additional jobs at the site in Bree and strengthens Greenyard's commitment to driving the consumption of tasty, pure-plant foods.

Tailored to a growing demand in convenience
The demand for sauces at Greenyard has increased by 80% over the last 10 years. Picking up on this trend, the company finalised another round of major investments in its production lines in 2023. This includes the installation of a new sauce kitchen, along with a new filling station and a new glass packaging line. With this, Greenyard Prepared enhances the annual capacity of its production site in Bree with 15 million units.

Not only enhancing the quality of our products, but also opening opportunities for a wider variety of tasty and nutritious recipes."

Next to deliciously nutritious products, the new sauce kitchen in Bree also creates new jobs. Greenyard Prepared is currently looking for all kind of profiles, including technicians and operators.
