Moroccan parliamentary group queries minister on agricultural product sabotage in Spain

The "Progress and Socialist Party" parliamentary group in Morocco has submitted a query to Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of Industry and Trade, regarding the destruction of Moroccan agricultural goods in Spain and attempts to ignite warehouses. They referenced Spanish media reports about an attempt to set fire to a warehouse in El Ejido, Almeria, containing Moroccan fruits and vegetables.

The incident endangered the lives of migrant workers inside, including Moroccans and individuals of various nationalities. This event is part of a pattern of similar incidents where Moroccan agricultural products have been targeted in Europe, causing concern among Moroccan professionals over safety, financial losses, and the negative impact on Morocco's agricultural sector. The parliamentary group is seeking information on the actions the Ministry of Trade has undertaken or plans to implement to ensure the safe entry of Moroccan agricultural products into the European market, prevent further attacks, and protect Moroccan interests.
