Bioplants' Inouï microfoams now available in all Metro stores in France:

“From being listed in 5 retail stores to 99”

Inouï continues to grow. The French brand's microfoams are now available in all Metro stores. Introduced to the brand in May 2023 via a listing in the Loire Valley only, the latest range developed by Bioplants is now available to all professional chefs.

Cultivated on its HEV-certified production site near Angers, Inouï's microfoams are produced without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

From 5 retail stores to 99
The range aimed at catering professionals is now available in all suppliers' outlets, now "being listed in 99 retail stores." This expansion has been made possible by the fast-growing demand. "In the catering sector, the demand for microgreens is growing, and there is no French producer yet with a national reach. Chefs are very keen on new products, so they can adapt their menus to suit the seasons," explains Angel Rodriguez, managing director of Bioplants.

"An educational concept to help catering professionals make the right choice"
In order to be able to offer microfoams with "preserved qualities", the company has developed an "eco-designed, practical, divisible and recyclable" pack with a compostable tray. Grown in a tray filled with potting soil, the microfoams offer great freshness right up to the plate, as well as optimized and easier preservation."

The 10 Inouï references: THE POWERFUL: Nasturtium, Mustard, Radish, and Arugula; THE SURPRISING: Borage, Pea, Tagetes, and Sunflower; THE SUBTLE: Basil and Coriander.

To guide catering professionals for the best possible combinations, each pack includes the name of the variety, a description of its full aromatic range, a segmentation by use (the Powerful, the Surprising, and the Subtle), the number of plates that can be made, storage advice and ideas for dish combinations.
