Azerbaijan's agricultural exports reached $1.1 billion in 2023, according to Yusif Abdullaev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency.
"Of the total agricultural export, $878 million accounted for unprocessed agricultural products," Abdullaev said at a press conference reviewing the results of 2023.
The highest volume was recorded for:
- persimmons at $127.2 million (+12%);
- shelled nuts at $119.6 million (+12%);
- apples at $57.2 million (+10%);
- peaches and nectarines at $51.5 million (+57%);
- cherries and sweet cherries at $44.6 million (+7%);
- pomegranates at $30.6 million (-4%).
