Kenyan macadamia farmers have suffered a setback following constraints in the international market. In the recent past, these same farmers faced a great and ready market, but this changed last year due to the weakening of the shilling against the dollar and the global financial position.
The macadamia market took a hit after most families in the US and Europe spending power declined due to the fluctuating economy as they recovered from the effects of pandemic.
