The Red Globe grape variety is one of the grapes that Peru exports in its campaign, which runs from October to March.
“This variety with seed is more widely accepted in the international market. The most outstanding characteristic of this variety is the size of its clusters that contain round and large berries that are the size of plums. As a result, this type of grape is also required as decoration for plates and tables,” stated Luzmila Nalvarte in her LinkedIn account.
This variety is characterized by its dark red fleshy berries that have a consistent pulp and thin skin.
"The Red Globe accounts for almost 75% of all Peruvian grape exports," Luzmila stated.
