In terms of volume, domestic cauliflower offers still led the way overall, but they played a major role primarily in Berlin and Munich. The presence of French shipments had expanded noticeably, arriving mainly in Frankfurt and Hamburg. Deliveries from the Netherlands and Belgium supplemented the market, with arrivals from Italy completing the range of goods.
In Frankfurt, a few Spanish products also appeared, initially in packs of 8 at a favorable price of EUR 8 to 9, then later in the week in packs of 6 at EUR 10. The German season was in its final stages, and the quality of the loads was no longer consistently convincing, so they sometimes had to be sold at reduced prices.
Prices for other origins often rose: the wet and cold weather had improved storage conditions, which traders were able to capitalize on.

Apples
Domestic products dominated the scene, with supplies from Italy in second place. Loads from France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland were more of a complementary nature.
Pears
Marketing proceeded smoothly and relatively calmly. Demand was easily met. In terms of prices, only the usual fluctuations were recorded.
Table grapes
The range changed as Italian loads lost market share overall. The presence of Turkish Sultana and Crimson Seedless also declined, and Moldova from the Republic of Moldova was no longer supplied as strongly as before.
Oranges
Spanish Navelina clearly dominated the market, with its relevance expanding noticeably. The winter weather and the start of the Advent season had definitely improved storage conditions: customers were happy to buy.
Small citrus fruits
Deliveries of Spanish clementines clearly gained momentum: the range grew strongly just in time for the Advent season. Italian offerings were often presented with leaves and complemented the range.
Lemons
Spanish deliveries grew strongly: price increases were possible but almost impossible, even though demand had intensified due to the winter weather. Discounts accelerated sales in various cases.
Bananas
The start of various Christmas markets had strengthened demand in some areas. As a rule, however, demand could be met without difficulty.
Lettuce
Iceberg lettuce usually came exclusively from Spain, while head lettuce came mainly from Belgium and Italy.
Cucumbers
Cucumbers came mainly from Spain. Prices tended to rise, in some cases quite sharply. Either these price increases occurred once at the beginning of the week, or they climbed gradually over the course of the week.
Tomatoes
Dutch and Belgian shipments dominated the market ahead of Spanish ones. Morocco, Italy, and Turkey also contributed larger quantities to the market. Supplies from Greece, Croatia, France, and Germany supplemented the market.
Sweet peppers
Spanish supplies were sometimes scarce, with deteriorating growing conditions and thrips infestation reducing the quantities available. This caused prices to rise, in some cases quite sharply.
