Cambodia exported more than 6 million tons of non-rice agricultural products in the first ten months of 2025, generating approximately US$2.53 billion in revenue, according to the General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF).
Sin Sophorn, Deputy Director-General of the GDA, said exports of non-rice crops increased by about 465,000 tons compared with the same period in 2024.
She reported that Cambodia shipped a range of horticultural products, including about 2.28 million tons of fresh cassava, 1.38 million tons of dried cassava, 634,000 tons of cashew nuts, 245,000 tons of fresh mangoes, nearly 300,000 tons of fresh bananas, 170,000 tons of corn, 23,727 tons of longans, and 95 other crop products totaling more than 700,000 tons.
Exports of non-rice crops to Thailand were valued at about US$260 million, representing 6.22 percent of Cambodia's total agricultural export value.
Sophorn added that while overall crop exports rose by 28.57 percent in 2025, some categories showed a decline. Fresh cassava exports decreased as many farmers shifted to producing dried cassava and cassava flour, which have longer shelf lives and higher market value. Exports of dried cassava increased by 60.91 percent, while cassava flour shipments grew by 82.59 percent compared with the same period in 2024.
Following Thailand's closure of several land border crossings, Cambodia exported 2,398 tons of crop products to Thailand by sea between June 24 and the end of October 2025, valued at about US$7 million. In October alone, exports totaled 670 tons, worth around US$1.2 million, down 27.52 percent from September.
