Select Harvests reaffirms 2025 almond outlook

Select Harvests Limited (ASX: SHV) has reaffirmed its 2025 almond crop forecast, maintaining confidence in its operations despite recent market fluctuations and global industry developments. The announcement comes as the USDA released a report suggesting the U.S. almond crop may have been overstated, prompting broader discussions across the almond sector.

While the almond index spot price has declined, Australian almond prices remain stable, supported by current international tariff regimes. Select Harvests noted that there is potential for price upside if tariff conditions improve in key export markets.

To date, the company has contracted over 75% of its 2025 crop, a move that reduces its exposure to ongoing price volatility. The company continues to express a positive outlook for the almond market, citing steady global demand growth alongside flat supply trends.

Select Harvests is one of Australia's biggest almond producers, operating orchards and processing facilities across North West Victoria, Southern New South Wales, and South Australia. Headquartered in Melbourne, it supplies both domestic and international markets under the Renshaw and Allinga Farms brands.

Despite the reaffirmed outlook, Select Harvests stock (SHV) closed down 4.59%. The most recent analyst rating on SHV is a Buy, with a price target of A$4.40. The company's current market capitalization stands at A$557.1 million, with an average daily trading volume of 282,751 shares. Technical sentiment on the stock currently signals a Sell.
