France is committed to aiding Morocco's ongoing development in the maritime sector, as emphasized by the French ambassador to Rabat, Christophe Lecourtier. This collaboration is part of broader cooperation between the two nations. Lecourtier highlighted Morocco's active role in representing Africa and other southern nations, fostering multilateral and bilateral cooperation.

France is the guest of honor at the 7th edition of the Halieutis Fair, aligning with recent French-Moroccan diplomatic momentum. Approximately twenty French companies are participating, showcasing solutions and innovations for Morocco's blue economy. Lecourtier noted that the maritime sector is central to Morocco's strategic plans.
French companies are presenting solutions for secure communication, traceability, and environmental respect as part of the French-Moroccan partnership. Lecourtier also mentioned an upcoming UN Summit in Nice focusing on ocean and biodiversity preservation, which aligns with Morocco's international policies.
The Halieutis Fair, themed "Research and innovation for a sustainable fisheries sector," gathers key players in fishing, aquaculture, seafood processing, and fisheries research, reinforcing its role in the international fisheries arena.
Additionally, the Paris International Agricultural Show (SIA) will, for the first time, honor Morocco as its featured foreign country. French Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Annie Genevard noted the mutual benefits, particularly in water management. The event, under the theme "A French Pride," will host over 600,000 visitors, featuring 4,000 animals and 1,000 exhibitors.
