A technical day organized by BIK on June 23rd

Restitution of research-experimentation work on kiwi fruit

“For several years now, BIK has been spearheading several research-experimentation projects on kiwi fruit, such as the thesis on decay in kiwifruit orchards and the project on devil bugs, for example.”

On the 23rd of June, at 2:30 pm in Port-Sainte-Marie (Lot-et-Garonne), the BIK's experimental research work was presented. The day started with a general member meeting, followed by an “overview of the current work and a time for discussion with BIK members and researchers.”

The presentation of the results and work in progress focused particularly on the devil bug, decay in kiwi orchards, irrigation and on the protection of the French origin. “This work has been going on for at least 3 years, and in some cases even longer.”
