On October 1st this year, Abiolab became part of Normec Foodcare. Abiolab has its customers in the public and private sectors, Normec reported in a press release. It is headquartered in Montbonnot-Saint-Martin (near Grenoble). In addition, Abiolab operates four laboratories across France and has a hub in Switzerland. This hub is used only for sales (with actual tests carried out in the laboratories in France). It also runs some audit services.
Abiolab has 100 employees, including 75 in Montbonnot-Saint-Martin. The main laboratory focuses on 3 different categories: Food, Environment (water and air) and Health. The other three laboratories focus exclusively on water testing and are only responsible for the operational activities of testing. With Abiolab, Normec Foodcare takes its first step in France.
