Lidl Ireland and Meade Farm introduce limited edition Irish Gold Potatoes

Lidl Ireland and its supplier, Meade Farm, have introduced an exclusive limited edition range of Irish Gold Potatoes which have arrived stores just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

Supplied exclusively to Lidl by their long-term supplier, Meade Farm, the premium white potatoes were grown by Meath-based Gibbstown Farm.

Checkout.ie quoted John McDonagh, head of Fruit and Vegetables, Lidl Ireland, as saying: “At Lidl, we’re constantly working with our network of more than 260 Irish suppliers to bring new and unique products to our shelves. We’ve been working with Meade Farm since we arrived in Ireland two decades ago and as we continue to grow and expand our range, we’re delighted that Meade has been able to grow with us.”

Exclusive Offer
Lidl claims it is the only retailer in Ireland to stock these unique potatoes. They are now available in all 168 of the retailer’s stores across the country -for a limited time only- for €3.49.
