Jan van der Meij junior, AGF-online:

"German spring onions are getting better every day"

Jan van der Meij of AGF-online is very satisfied with the course of the German spring onion season. "The onions are getting more beautiful by the day. A few weeks ago they were a bit "slimy" but that is partly due to the fall in temperatures. Now the spring onions are getting harder."

"The summer onions are also coming. The first of these often have a small ball, so if the winter onions stay that beautiful, there is a good chance that we will harvest these fields well and entirely," Jan continues.

More and more products will be added from week 20-21. Of course we are very much looking forward to our well-known carrot. Then everything we have on wheels is continuously moving and the warehouse is often too small. What a blast," says Jan, enthusiastically.
"Then the celery, peas, corn, radish, kohlrabi and fennel will also come off nicely."
