Long-time manager Egon Heizmann has started managing current affairs of the Freiburg im Breisgau office of Greenyard Fresh Germany.
From 1 November his two sons will join the newly founded Frischebrüder LLC. "Our long-term corporate goal is to become the number one fresh produce supplier in South and Central Baden. We want to provide added value for customers, producers and suppliers in order to further consolidate sustainable and long-term partnerships and build new ones. Therefore, we are primarily dealing in business areas where we are 'strong' already," says the youngest 'Frischebruder', Andreas Heizmann.

Independent family business
As an independent family business, it is possible to offer each customer flexible, innovative and tailor-made solutions. The product range of Frischebrüder LLC includes regional and international products. There is also a wide range of organic and convenience foods. "In order to be able to offer customers the best regional products with short delivery routes, the fruit and vegetable producers are closely tied to the Frischebrüder through personal contacts. Regionality and internationality go hand in hand to make the best product ranges available to customers," adds Andreas Heizmann.
The Freiburg site is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and has all necessary docks as well as cooling, sorting and picking capacities.
A total of 70 years of industry experience
The management team of Frischebrüder can boast of 70 years of trading experience. Egon,Thomas and Andreas Heizmann were able to gather a wealth of experience in a wide variety of functions, which they can now bring to Frischebrüder LLC. Egon Heizmann has been a senior executive at the site for 42 years, has a deep commitment to relevant clients and is a recognized specialist in the industry.
His sons Thomas and Andreas Heizmann have been working in other companies in the industry in recent years, both on the customer and on the procurement / production side. This means this 'triumvirate' has an extensive and high-quality network of producers, suppliers and customers. Direct paths, from production to customer, are the focus here.

Classic wholesaler and specialist at the same time
With the desire for specialization, Frischebrüder LLC will go for a balanced mix of regionality and internationality, offering its customers the best ranges. The entire assortment at present amounts to approx. 350 fruit and vegetable products. Even more products will be added in the future. "At the same time, however, we will come up with clear 'focus articles' or 'focus product groups' in the future, which will receive extra attention and which will make as an even more competent partner for the retail sector," says Andreas Heizmann.

Contract Logistics - Services and Services
Frischebrüder LLC also offers extensive contract logistics solutions. On a storage area of approx. 2,500m2, cooling, sorting and picking capacities are available. Its fleet of vehicles, which covers all vehicle classes from vans to 40-ton trucks, can also be used to provide logistical services.
