Egypt exported 4,655 food shipments during the week of 15–12 November, according to the National Food Safety Authority's 43rd weekly report for 2025. The shipments, totaling 194,000 tons, were supplied by 1,462 Egyptian companies and covered around 875 different product categories, including vegetables, fruits, and processed foods.
Sweet potatoes were the largest outbound product with 10,000 tons, followed by onions at 7,000 tons and beans at 5,000 tons. On the fruit side, citrus led shipments with 11,000 tons. Pomegranate and strawberry each recorded 6,000 tons.
The NFSA report notes that the exported consignments were delivered to more than 205 markets. Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Algeria, and Sudan were among the main destinations.
The data reflects continued movement of Egypt's vegetable and fruit categories into regional and international supply chains, with volumes driven by mixed product groups ranging from field-grown roots to fresh citrus.
