From January to May 2025, Uzbekistan exported 741,000 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $619.6 million, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Compared to the same period last year, export volumes rose by 2.8%, while revenue increased by 47.9%. Fruit and vegetable exports accounted for 4.2% of the country's total foreign trade.
Earlier, EastFruit reported that from 2021 to 2024, Uzbekistan's fruit imports grew more than fourfold, from $60 million to $250 million, one of the fastest increases globally.
