Uzbekistan and Egypt to boost food industry cooperation

Uzbekistan and Egypt are planning to strengthen ties in the food industry. Uzbek diplomats met with Amal Samir, Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries, to discuss trade and joint production, Dunyo IA reports.

Egypt expressed interest in increasing imports of Uzbek fruits, vegetables, and dried fruits. Both sides discussed the establishment of cooperation in the food industry, joint production, and the organization of export-import operations.

To establish connections and develop cooperation with relevant organizations and companies in Uzbekistan, an agreement was reached to organize online meetings shortly with the participation of business representatives from both Uzbekistan and Egypt.
