Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev has instructed to facilitate the conclusion of contracts for the export of local apples to China under the brand "Nookat Apples". This decision was made during his visit to the Osh region, where he familiarised himself with the operations of the agricultural cooperative in the Nookat district.
Currently, the agricultural cooperative boasts a 15-hectare apple orchard, a 4-hectare cherry orchard, and 4 hectares of walnut orchards.
"Today marks the completion of the construction of a logistics centre with a capacity of 1.2 tons. Additionally, a refrigerator with a capacity of 350 tons for fruit storage has been built, along with a packaging line, sorting, and washing workshops," said the Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
