According to Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi, the government would brand horticultural products and fruit under the Cluster Development Program (CDP) in Himachal Pradesh.
Minister Negi said various fruits like apple, plum, peach, pear and citrus fruits and Horticulture products of the state are famous in the country and abroad. He added that the Himachal Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board will be a cluster development agency that will redress all the queries and problems of the farmers under this program. The Horticulture Department has been appointed as the nodal agency for the implementation of this program.
