Pakistan markets full of seasonal pomegranates

With the arrival of the winter season, a mass of pomegranates have flooded the markets of Islamabad (the nation’s capital) and the adjacent city of Rawalpindi, collectively known as ‘the twin cities’. People are showing great enthusiasm to buy the available seasonal fruit. According to some, the sharp drop in temperature in the twin cities has led to a hike in the sale of pomegranates and an increase in the number of sales points.

Various kinds of pomegranate, including the Chamman, Quetta and Peshawri are being sold.
