More Chinese enterprises enter the Southeast Asian region
The Chairman of the Malay-Chinese Trade Association, Tan Yew Sing, stated that the close cooperation between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which grows stronger day by day, will help many Chinese agricultural enterprises to enter the Southeast Asian region. He hopes that "the outstanding Chinese agricultural technology will take root in the soil of ASEAN-countries and bear fruit."
The Malay Mail Online
reports that Tan Yew Sing calls for governments and businesses to use the Malay-Chinese bilateral trade relations to promote various traditional industries and realize technological innovation. Only highly-efficient, modern agricultural businesses with accumulated and concentrated knowledge can support the growing global population.
