China: American fruit shipped direct to the trading post in Dalian

In the past few days, 12 crates of American cherries have successfully cleared the customs at the trading post in Dalian, after having met the standards set out by the Inspection and Quarantine Office in Liaoning province. This batch of cherries will be transported along the COSCO OCEANIA naval line by a steamship of the China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO). There will be 12 days between the moment the cherries leave their producer in the United States of America and the moment they cross the border at the trading post in Dalian city (Liaoning province). This batch will be the first direct shipment of American fruit imports entering through this trading post.
