Partners Elisa Bonora and Massimo Noferini (in the photo) have made available the experience they gained at the Agricultural Science Department of the University of Bologna. Massimo Noferini is also one of the inventors of the DA-Meter and the Kiwi-Meter.
The objective is to monitor the environmental parameters in fields (water content, air temperature, rainfall, gas exchange) and in post-harvesting (temperature of the units, containers) as well as physiological (ripening, growth, internal temperature, shelf-life) and qualitative (soluble solid content, titratable acidity, firmness, etc.) parameters.
Monitoring of gas exchange.
It represents an ideal support to identify the best time to sell the produce meeting the needs of the market, the chain and final consumers.
Monitoring of anthocyanin content.
Technical assistance and training is also provided thanks to the cooperation with Sinteleia and TR-Turoni, which manufacture and sell high-tech equipment for agriculture.
