FMI report on the trade event's first edition

"It seems São Paulo Fruit Attraction is here to stay"

In Brazil, São Paulo is currently hosting its inaugural edition of Fruit Attraction. FMI is one of the Dutch exhibitors and gave feedback on the event. "There was some skepticism in Europe beforehand, but it's genuinely exceeded our expectations," says Marlies Bouman.

"We had a significant number of visitors from the first hour, with a large turnout from South America, but also from Europe. As for the exhibitors, it seems the ratio is roughly 70% from South America and 30% from other regions."

"With just one hall, the first day attracted about 6,000 visitors, and yesterday seemed even busier," Marlies reports.

"Despite only booking one hall for this year's Fruit Attraction, plans are already in place to expand to two next year."

"There were fairly few visitors from the Netherlands," Marlies says, "and besides us, there were only two other Dutch exhibitors, Jaguar and AgroFair."

"It seems this event is here to stay. We're definitely pleased; for us, this event was a great success," Marlies concludes.
