Spain: Syngenta launches Vitulia courgettes for open fields

Faithful to its philosophy of being a global company with local solutions, Syngenta offers varieties of courgette adapted to the demands of the whole agricultural chain, not only for intensive cultivations but also open field varieties. In the greenhouses of Almería Syngenta's Cronos variety courgette is well known. Cronos is different due to its high quality production during the whole cycle, not only in the field but also in post production profit for farmers. For the Autumn cycles, the harvest between mid August and mid September is recommended, highlighting its resistance level to powdery mildew.

Syngenta launches Vitulia, the new variety for open fields.

In the open field segment, Syngenta launches this year an important novelty: Vitulia, destined to replace, with time, the well known Mástil variety. Vitulia is characterised by medium vigor and compact growth, bringing high quality and yields, resistant to powdery mildew. This variety is recommended for Summer and Autumn cycles and the ideal time for its harvesting is from March to August.
