Thailand ginger harvest about to begin
This season, Exoriens Co., Ltd. will have a ‘healthy’ supply of high quality Thai ginger, despite global shortages. All our ginger is Global GAP certified, and further tested by a UKAS approved laboratory to ensure its safety for our customers.
An especially dry summer in China this year (which grows nearly 30 percent of the world’s supply) has led many farmers to turn from ginger to commodity crops in search of better prices. It is likely that ginger suppliers and importers will be looking to develop new sources this season, and countries such as Thailand and India will become more important.

Despite the recent global shortage of ginger, Exoriens Co., Ltd (Thailand) expects to be increasing its exports of Thai ginger between January and March 2010.
This year we are exploring new markets in the USA.
Additionally, our new packing house area will accommodate extra storage space, allowing us to keep ginger in storage from March to September in 2010 for shipments that are out of season.

Each container we send is either floor load or pallet load, of the following specifications:
Fresh Ginger : Floor Load in 40FT’
Pack 13.60 Kgs/Carton in cardboard carton
Load 1,446 Cartons / Container
N.W. 19,665.60 Kgs / Container
Fresh Ginger : Pallet Load in 40FT’
Pack 13.60 Kgs/Carton in cardboard carton
Load 60 Cartons/Pallet , 22 Pallets X 60Ctns = 1,320 Cartons/Container
N.W. 17,952.00Kgs / Container
