New concept raspberry variety on the market
Netherlands: Veiling Zaltbommel introduce Kwanza

Veiling Zaltbommel and its raspberry growers introduced the hallmark Kwanza this week. This a concept grown raspberry. The nice, clear, tasty raspberry with a minimum weight of 6 grs. has been developed by Geert de Weert in the environment of Zaltbommel (Rossum). After testing over a number of years Kwanza turned out to be a fantastic raspberry provided cultivation is especially adjusted. All this has been put into concept form by Veiling Zaltbommel and its growers under the Kwanza brand.

The introduction took place by offering the first picking at auction with the proceeds going to the charit,. Samenloop voor Hoop a walking event for the benefit of KWF Fight against Cancer. This year it has been organised in the Bommelerwaard in Ammerzoden on 9 and 10 June next. Veiling Zaltbommel support this action.
