Minister of Agriculture reports on experience with E.coli crisis

"How to handle crisis management" with Clara Aguilera García"

A top-level visitor at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2012, Clara Aguilera García has served as the Minister of Agriculture and Fishing in Andalusia since April 2009. In May 2011, she responded to the E.coli scare with a number of crisis management measures. This was after several European countries unilaterally decided to close their markets to fruit and vegetables from Spain – a significant setback for Spanish growers and exporters.

Clara Aguilera García will report on her experience with the E.coli crisis in the Hall Forum "How to handle crisis management" taking place in Hall 26 on 8 February from 15.00 to 16.00 hrs. Together with Raquel Izquierdo de Santiago from Freshfel Europe and Dr. Robert Schaller from the German Federal Ministry of Nutrition, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, she will discuss the latest developments and explain how future crisis management can be organised.

Six Hall Forums will be presented at FRUIT LOGISTICA on three trade fair days. All of the presentations and discussion sessions are organised by Fruchthandel Magazine (Dusseldorf).
