Zeus caring for the environment

Zeus has shipped kiwis to China for the first time. The quality was more than satisfactory and according to Christina Manossis, General Manager at the Zeus, there is a very good perspective to significantly increase volumes in the coming years.

Zeus delegates have visited clients in China and supermarket chains both in China and Hong Kong.

Zeus is also proud to announce the implementation of the EPD system in Kiwis (Environmental Product Declaration), being the first organization in Greece and one of the few around the world to apply this. The EPD is a tool to communicate the environmental performance of a product based on the assessment of a product life cycle. ZEUS has always been keen on the environment and couldn’t miss the opportunity to apply this system to its products. This allows ZEUS to communicate the impact its kiwis have on the environment by an assessment of the energy used, water, soil, raw materials etc.
