Coop tests organic vegetables without packaging

Coop wants to sell organic vegetables without packaging whenever possible. Now a system is being tested, with which products can be labeled without packaging.

Saves up to 80% of materials
"Elastitag" is the name of the label with a black rubber band, which is supposed to serve as a new biocoenosis of the vegetables. Coop has stated that with the Elastitag it is possible to save 70 percent of the material in the case of the organic Chinese cabbage, and 80 percent for the organic Savoy cabbage.
