This is part of the final stage of authorization of Argentina as an exporting country to that Asian giant. The Chinese officials inspected fields, packaging facilities, fumigation chambers and processes.
Expectations
"We were with them in the fields all day and the workday was very good. We are optimistic about their report," stated the head of APAMA.
"We hope they will authorize us to sell the fruit to China," he said.
The Asian inspectors will stay in the area on Friday and during present a summary of their activities in the afternoon.
Requirements
The head of APAMA said that they were used to this type of inspections; especially because of the very high level of demand that the potential foreign market has for this regional production.
"They demand the fruit has an excellent quality level. However, we must remember that this process will allow us to enter a market that has many possibilities for us," he concluded.
