The export value exceeded 343 million USD, which is an increase of 4.14% in comparison with the previous month and an increase of 16.1% in comparison with the same period in the previous year. The overall export value of Vietnamese fruit and vegetables increased in the first 7 months of 2018 for most export markets. Only the value of export to Japan, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and England showed a downward trend.

China was the largest export market for Vietnam in the first 7 months of 2018, as it has been for a long time. The export value reached 1.72 billion USD, which is an increase of 12.1% in comparison with the same period in the previous year. The second-largest export market for Vietnam is the USA. The export value reached 7.4 million USD, which is an increase of 19.3% in comparison with the same period in the previous year.
