NZ Exotic Fruit Exporter Grows Kiwano

DMP has created a new Joint Venture company, Purely Exotics Ltd, which will grow Kiwano in New Zealand for export to the world. Having represented the owners of the trademark for so long we are very pleased to now be involved in the growing of the fruit as well.  Our existing customers are excited by this development and we are also getting interest from new customers and countries. We welcome the opportunity to expand the markets for this versatile fruit.

DMP is a New Zealand growers-owned exporter of premium fresh produce. It is 100% owned by the J M Bostock Group, a diverse, innovative and vertically group of companies based in the warm and sunny Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand. As a vertically integrated group we have the strength and flexibility to grow and supply what our international customers require.
DMP have been exporting exotic fruits from NZ to the world for 30 years and is the market leader for export of in-season exotic fruits to the discerning Japanese market throughout the year. Tokyo is the main market for exotic fruits which includes Passionfruit, Tamarillos, Pitaya, Feijoas, Blueberries, Pepinos, Cherimoya, and  Babaco. Since the trade began in 1980 DMP has developed the timing, varieties and volumes to achieve market dominance in Japan for these items. The business is highly specialised with a strong emphasis on superb presentation backed up by stringent quality control.
