This is the second year the French company Vivy Fruits has offered pumpkins and butternut squashes. Christophe Piquet: "The first year wasn’t too bad. We’ve just started the second season. For now, we do not have a big production, but we hope to increase the sales every year."
To increase sales, and to highlight the products by the consumer, Vivy Fruits has introduced its own brand, called 'Douceurs d'Automne'. "We want to have a distinct product."
Red kuri squashes of French origin
All Vivy Fruits products are produced in France. The company offers a wide range of products from the Loire Valley region. Most products are sold in France, or exported to Switzerland.
The red kuri squash season will last until the end of the year.
