Seveplant/Verbeek BV opens new cooling facility in Serbia
Seveplant, daughter company of Verbeek BV is one of the biggest fruit tree nurseries in Serbia. They have recently opened a new cooling facility in Serbia.
Verbeek BV started with small steps in Serbia four years ago, when they established a local company under the name of Seveplant. They started with fruit tree production of 300,000 seedlings per year. Verbeek brought their knowledge and technology to Serbia and shared them with local experts.
Today, the company produces 4.5 million seedlings, thus becoming one the top three nurseries in the world. Verbeek has invested their own capital in building the new cold storage in Serbia, which will help them increase export of top quality seedlings worldwide.
The agricultural team of the Embassy have been in close cooperation with Verbeek BV and their daughter company Seveplant since the beginning.
