Jacky and Alex de Bruijn leaving AGRO Merchants Westland

After respectively 33 and 29 years, Jacky and Alex de Bruijn have decided to end their careers as of 1 July 2018. This also means that from that date their activities for AGRO Merchants Westland will cease.

"The trust that customers and partners have given Jacky and Alex on a daily basis has helped them to develop a clear vision and strategy. As a result, the flower bulb wholesaler business started by their father has grown into a leading logistics service provider, specialized in ocean import produce and flower bulbs. Initially under the name of ADB Cool Company and the last year as AGRO Merchants Westland.

Under the leadership of Jacky and Alex, numerous innovations have been implemented in order to serve you as customer/partner optimally in the field of ripening, packaging, storage and many other activities. Jacky and Alex, together with the employees, have transformed the family business from a local player to a leading company with an international customer base.

AGRO Merchants Westland thanks Jacky and Alex for their vision, leadership and important contribution to the growth and development of our organization. There is also a word of thanks to the partners of Jacky and Alex, the children of Alex and of course all employees who have always supported them unconditionally in the pursuit and realization of their ambitions."
