Adam Glick to showcase Jazz apples during summer sampling tour

Outdoor explorer, trained chef, and television personality, Adam Glick, exemplifies the active, adventurous lifestyle that the brand behind Jazz™ apples said it so perfectly complements; so, when the apple brand decided to align with an influential brand ambassador to promote their products, the search began and ended with Adam. Since joining the team in early 2018, Chef Glick has become an integral part of Jazz™’s promotional efforts, and will headline a summer sampling tour, traveling to retail locations across the US in his converted “adventure van” in June and July.

Many of the tour stops will allow Adam to showcase his culinary chops in an outdoor setting and serve up samples of some of his favorite camping cuisine featuring Jazz™ apples. Adam’s appearances aim to provide a platform for driving trial of the apples, engaging with shoppers and converting them into opted-in contacts via the How Do You Jazz™? Video Contest.



“Adam is often recognized for starring in Bravo TV’s Below Deck: Mediterranean, and he has a large and enthusiastic social following,” says Brock Nemecek, North America marketing manager for Jazz™ brand owner, T&G Global. “However, Adam brings much more to the table. He’s relatable, genuinely passionate about our product, and contributes solid, executable ideas based on his expertise in foodservice, media, and brand collaborations.”

The first leg of the summer sampling tour kicks off in Seattle, with stops in Portland, OR, Denver, and Cincinnati, before concluding in Chicago at the 2018 United Fresh Convention. Adam will be representing Jazz™ apples throughout the United Fresh event, including as a featured chef in the inaugural Culinary Showcase, and raising funds for the 5th Annual Tour de Fresh charity bike ride.



“I’m thrilled to be touring the country, introducing shoppers to my favorite apple – I call it ‘Adam’s Apple’ – in new and exciting ways,” says Chef Adam Glick. “Jazz™ is my go-to, always refreshing travel snack that seamlessly fits into my crazy life. So, it’s fun to witness folks trying a crisp, sweet-tart Jazz™ apple for the first time – I’m confident we’re winning over many new loyal fans.”

The second leg of the summer tour, set to start in early July, is being planned now and is open to interested retail customers. Slots are filling quickly, and retailers are encouraged to express their interest and book sampling dates via their Jazz™ sales representative.

“This summer tour, along with Adam’s participation in the upcoming United Fresh and Tour de Fresh activities, highlight our commitment to fully integrated consumer and trade marketing initiatives that will grow brand awareness, add value to our retail offerings, and increase demand for Jazz™ apples long after the tour concludes,” adds Nemecek.
