Italy: Organic Red Season strawberries to become available in 20 day's time

Red Season strawberries will be harvested in around 20 days time. The produce is organic and the brand is much appreciated, so much so that the strawberries will be distributed to both domestic and European retailers this year.

"There have been a few issues from the point of view of the weather, but luckily all our crops were protected. This in turn means fruits are uniform and healthy. Brix level is more than satisfactory and strawberries are doing well," explains member Giovanni Gianello.

The price of organic productions is higher than that of traditional produce, and it's true for Red Season as well. The soil is practically virgin and microclimatic conditions are favourable, so there are no particular health problems.

Retail chains appreciate the black packaging with the "Season" lettering in the colours of the Italian flag. The produce is distributed all over the national territory through various platforms.
