On the afternoon of May 15th, agricultural areas in Shaanxi, Shanxi and Henan Provinces were struck by hail. It was followed by frost and became a catastrophe for the farmers. At half past two on the afternoon of May 15, the hailstorm suddenly came to Shangluo County in Shaanxi. It continued for about 40 minutes and the diameter of the hailstones was about 40 mm. The storm has caused a lot of damage to crops and agricultural facilities.
