Despite increasing imports at low prices, VSP members were able to increase sales last year, the association stated. The partnership-based cooperation with the customers has paid off, Association Secretary Fritz Burkhalter told the General Assembly.
The reaction of agriculture to the general situation shows how far ahead of the political arena mushroom production is and how successful it is in the market. In the mushroom trade there are no border tariffs or direct payments.
