Jealous Fruits buys Canadian cherry grower

The Dendy family, owners of Dendy Orchards Ltd and the world famous Morning Glory brand of Canadian cherries, along with the Geen family, owners of Jealous Fruits Ltd, are pleased to announce the upcoming sale of Dendy Orchards to the Jealous group of companies. Effective immediately, Jealous Fruits will be taking over Dendy Orchards' farming operations and preparing for the upcoming 2018 cherry season.

Dendy Orchards, East Kelowna, BC

“I am honored to be continuing the Dendy family's legacy - devotion to producing the highest quality sweet cherries in the world,” says David Geen, President of Jealous Fruits Ltd.

Much of the fruit from Dendy orchards will continue to be packed in the Morning Glory label for Asian clientele, while the Jealous Fruits label will service North American and the European clientele. Christine Dendy has graciously agreed to help during the transition, assisting in managing the Dendy packing facility for the 2018 season.
