Israelis arrested for avocado theft

Last Sunday, four men were arrested in Israel in connection with the theft of tons of avocados. Among the four, was the supposed ringleader and one was the buyer of the stolen goods.

According to jpost.com, two people arrested on Monday reside in the village of Sheikh Danun in northern Israel. The thieves allegedly stole tons of avocados, with each ton of avocado being worth around NIS 15,000 [roughly $4,250]. Most of the stolen fruit was from Kibbutz Kabri.
